Mannequins
Mannequins from the Eastern Wig & Hair Company on Woodward Avenue in Detroit.
I shot these during lunch a couple years ago. I can remember convincing the skeptical shop owner to let me shoot in the dimly-lit store.
A majority of the heads featured broken noses, missing eyes and scabby make-up. I begged them to let me have one of the broken heads. I think they thought I was some kind of pervert.
